Robert Edward "Ted" Turner III (born November 19, 1938[2]) is an American media mogul and philanthropist. As a businessman, he is best known as the founder of the cable television network CNN, the first dedicated 24-hour cable news channel. In addition to CNN, he founded WTBS, which pioneered the superstation concept in cable television. As a philanthropist, he is well known for his $1 billion pledge to the United Nations donated through his United Nations Foundation.

Microvision was also showing off a prototype micro projector, with its model being more refined, almost to the point of being a finished product.

The model is based off a technology that uses three laser modules that fire at a wobbling mirror which scans lines on whatever surface the projector is pointed at.

The news is that a revolution in solar power technology has begun. The maker of this news is a Silicon Valley company called Nanosolar that has come up a with a way to produce solar panels 100 times thinner and 100 times faster than anything we've seen before.
